"Showville" is an exciting new TV talent contest based on the concept of going into South African towns and finding - and developing - wonderful, quirky, interesting talent.
Every town has a story. Every town has a star. After the museum closed for the day an interview was done by Lorcia Cooper with the museum caretaker Aphiwe Masoka, who was very nervous at first, but she has such a bubbly personality that he quickly relaxed and enjoyed being in front of the cameras with her. She also explained what was expected for each shoot and made the whole process easy and fun.
The crew photographed a number of the shells for additional footage. The whole process took two hours but will be condensed to only 45 seconds of airtime...
The program is scheduled for around April 2018 and the director Geoff Butler inform staff at the museum with the scheduling date once confirmed and hopefully the production company will make a copy of the clip available for use in the museum.
